Somalia, al-Qaeda & C.I.A.: No Winners

What is the U.S. doing in Somalia? The C.I.A backing of Somali warlords against real or suspected al-Qaeda members starts a dependency by Somalia on America. We have seen similar addictions in foreign policy so many times before. No matter what happens it will be in the Somali warlords financial interest to keep alive the al-Qaeda threat. Even if it amounts to cross-dressing.

We should walk away from Somalia. Let al-Qaeda care for these Stone Age Africans. The C.I.A budget of $ 40 billion per year creates more mischief than it solves. The C.I.A acronym stands for " Confused in Africa" !
