Yesterday Senator Lieberman was on " Face The Nation". He said in part, " If they [ Iran ] don't play by the rules, we've got to use our force, and to me, that would include taking military action to stop them from doing what they're doing [ atomic work/aiding Iraqi resistance ]".
To me, Lieberman is a caricature of the whining, Zionist Jew in our midst. Actually there are more non-Jewish Zionists in America, but Lieberman is a cartoon character. He's the Senator from Connecticut who had a "D" for Democrat after his name but now has an " I " for Independent. But the " I " really stands for Israel whose policies he pushes above U.S. interests in the Middle East. Simply he wants the world made safe for Israel's slow-motion genocide of the Palestinians. In spite of the debacle in Iraq, Lieberman now wants to go into Iran.
Lieberman is doing what comes naturally for a Jewish Zionist. But I don't get the Connecticut voters. There can't be that many Zionists or Jews in the state to carry Lieberman by themselves. So Lieberman had help outside of his personal demographic. Too bad, the 2006 election was a missed oppurtunity for a humane final solution for Lieberman. Maybe next time the cartoon character will be shown the door.
