Ignore North Korea

How about ignoring North Korea? It would be a Trojan Horse ploy in reverse. One evening the U.S. would pull its front line troops from the North/South border. By morning thousands of American forces would be at least 100 miles away. Over a period of weeks the U.S. garrison of 37,000 would be brought home and immediately spend their payrolls on our own soil. Leave a note to Kim Jong Il stating we no longer care about the actions of North Korea and as far as we are concerned his people can all starve to death. Also if he wants to nuke Japan so be it. We been there done that.

Kim Jong Il and his father before him are the mirror image of American foreign policy. Without our foreign policy Kim would be shucking clams on the coast.

Will The Russians Control Bush, Cheney Better Than Congress?

"Nature hates a vacuum", is attributed to the Greek philospher Aristotle. The truth of a statement is proportional to its observable applications. Bad foreign or domestic policy bring on unintended negative consequences. Thus a vacuum of sound judgment will be filled out of thin air with a subsequent more appropriate judgment and/or action.

And so the vacuum of Congress as a counterweight to the Bush/Cheney administration has brought back the Cold War. Congress was missing in the Afghanistan overreaction which turned the whole country against the U.S. "liberators". Congress was complicit and more than helpful in the insane invasion of Iraq. Congress was silent when the Administration tore up one nuclear limitation treaty after another with the Russians. And so the Russians response to the U.S. funding of insurrection by Georgia is a massive retaliation.

So now we have a predictable Russian discipline that will be imposed on vacuums or gaps in bad U.S. foreign policy. I think we will all be more secure with that discipline/threat rather than with the bad judgment threat and lack of discipline of our Congress.

Cheney's Cold Heart And The Cold War

"An icy surface may contain the possibility of life." No it wasn't a discription of Dick Cheney. It was the latest analysis of Enceladus, Saturn's moon. It's surface temperature is -289 F. But Cheney could be a metaphor. The moron Bush is non compos mentis and can hardly distinguish between the Russian Georgia and our Georgia with the city of Atlanta.

No. The restart of the Cold War can be blamed on the Big Dick. Why the U.S. should care about the Georgian state to the extent of training and supplying Georgian troops can only be explained as a provocative eye-gouge to the Russian Bear. Our own Pelosi-Cow has not mooed caution about this dangerous project. For her, " impeachment is off the table" and that serves as a free pass for more mischief-making by the degenerates in Washington. Maybe a winter offensive in Russia? "Hey asshole what is your job?"

There is one thing about nuclear war casualties, at least 80% of the people wont be missed. But the flora and fauna deserve better.

U.S.- Style Democracy & Banks Need Foreign Money And Help To Survive

Why are some pundits so upset about Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and other major financial instutions giving up significant ownership stakes in exchange for desperately needed cash infusions from China, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and other foreign countries?

Would the pundits rather these countries refuse to help? The pundits say it's a matter of principle. Gee then wht's the principle that allows app. 12 million illegals to live in the U.S. in a relatively pampered state of care including allowing some to vote? America prints money like Disney's Sorcerer's Apprentice to underwrite it's false " all are equal" philosophy. So multinationals need China's cheap labor to prosper and pay taxes so our government can support a welfare system for the " equals"who are chronically unemployed or under employed.

If we as a country want to get serious about who owns America and who has rights in America then we will have to get serious about rights being tied to performance. NO FREE LUNCH AND THAT INCLUDES CORPORATE WELFARE .

Does The World Need A Balance Of Power And Hate?

Sadly the Russians are restarting the policy of armed, airborn bombers 24/7. They abandoned that practice in 1992. But the statement yesterday by President Putin that accompanied the announcement mentioned self-preservation in the face of "other nation's aggression" as the cause. Also Russia, China and 4 Central Asian countries are involved in "war games" in Russia's Ural Mountains. It looks like the Cold War is starting up again. Maybe if we had the Cold War prior to 2003 there would have been no Iraq invasion . Maybe the world needs a balance of hate/power for stability.

Speaking about hate, America's Congress just raised it's support for Israel. The U.S. will increase it's support to $ 3 billion per year from $2.5. Arguably Israel and it's Zionist politicians is the most hated country and leadership on the globe. The power of the Israeli lobby and the delusional, apocalyptic evangelical christians that support them is the greatest asset of the rogue nation. Others opine that America's unqualified support will only hasten Israel's destruction.

" Right Stuff Quiz " At The Department Of Defense

The Freedom of Information Act enabled the publication of this " Right Stuff Quiz " given to prospective D.O.D. new hires. It goes like this:

" You are watching the kick-off of the Super Bowl. Suddenly you smell smoke coming from another room in your home. Choose the best response to demonstrate your ability to cope with threats".

a) continue to watch the game
b) alert your family
c) run out of your house
d) call the fire department
e) watch only the kick return and then go to your fireproof study/bunker to complete your design on a new nuclear weapon.

The Bush Administration on Friday announced the winner of the new design of a new class of nuclear weapons. The first such weapon in 20 years. The State Department alerted Russia and China immediately " Not to Worry."

America doesn't need a new arms race. Ergo the power to wage war should be only in the hands of the people voting in the majority in a NATIONAL REFERENDUM ON WAR. Then the warmongers will have to diversify out of their core business and there will be less pressure for war in the future.

P.S. The new hires at the D.O.D. choose "e" in the quiz.
