A Possibly Inconvenient Question For Bill & Melinda Gates

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has released figures boasting that their disease prevention measures in Africa have saved approximately 7 million lives so far. Sounds like good news. But now that the lives have been saved, now come other questions. I.E. What have the saved lives been saved for? What are their prospects? How will they eat? How will they work? How will they be shelterd? What will we do with their children who Bill and Melinda will presumbably save also?

Have Bill and Melinda thought through the whole process of creation which includes maintenance and death?I suspect no.

"Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread".

Citizen Buffett

Orson Welles' character Citizen Kane gives it up with his last word ," Rosebud". It was a reference to his boyhood sled and happier times. The "Rosebud" decal on the sled pointed to the promise of spring in the midst of winters gloom.

Warren Buffett's recent autobiography is titled "Snowball". It refers to the compounding of wealth through the dynamic of buying sound companies and never selling. This is Buffett's version of reflection on happier times now that he's nearer the end of his career. Eh!

Buffett has pledged his fortune to charities. Buffett will use his wealth to help many people who sadly shouldn't have been born. These people now suffer deprivation. They will be helped by a man who spent his whole life accumulating more than he needed.

Imagine Your Chinatown At Country Size

Most every metropolitan area has a "Chinatown". My own experience has been eating novel sometimes excellent food set in a filthy part of town. But to be accurate, Chinatown came before the filth.

And so it is with the curtain being drawn back on the filth of China which is host of the Beijing Olympics. Cars and factories had to be largely locked down to interrupt the smog-producing emissions that would literally cloud the observance of the competitions. Algae plumes on the sea had to be cleaned up by tens of thousands Chinese so boats would not be seized by the green organic product of sewage and agricultural waste. But not for long. After the last tourists hurry home the generation of pollution will begin again. This is all happening against a recent backdrop of earthqukes and flooding that have been exacerbated by shoddy buildings and tree-denuded mountains and the environmental sin of the ages called Three Gorges Dam.

There are 1.2 billion Chinese and not much else in China-one of the worlds oldest civilization. Trees, animals, fish, insects and plants are either gone or are teetering on leaving the smell and filth of the Chinese hoards. Where did all the flora and fauna go ? The Chinese ate 'em! A recent article on the menus of street vendors include: grasshoppers, sea horses, scorpions, lamb testicles, assorted roasted insects ad nauseam. Why even their show piece signature structure the "Birds Nest" reminds that the Chinese rob swallows of their nests and after minimum prepartion eat a soup with ingredients that include the droppings/leavings of the humble bird.

China is the worlds future if we populate the remaining areas of the earth with China-like densities. Frankly we need a virus . We need to have less Chinese in particular and people in general.

Jo Stafford vs David Bowie: Metaphor For Population Control ?

Jo Stafford past away last Wednesday at the age of 90. She was eulogised by musical critics ".... as the woman with a pure vibrato-less voice, a perfect intonation that conveyed steadfast devotion and reassurance with delicate understatement". I have an album with her and the Pied Pipers backing up Frank Sinatra and the Tommy Dorsey Band. I have also heard and enjoyed her singles. The musical critics are correct. But one has to listen to really be informed and moved.

Last night an older David Bowie concert was shown on TV. I looked and listened for as long as possible. It took about a minute for a earful. His "singing" could have been played backwards with the same effect.

I have a theory that there is an inverse relationship between quality music and the growth of population. I.E. the more the people the worse the quality of music becomes. So when the over- due die- back of the human infestation finally happens there will be rewards.

Bill Gates : Hung Up On Redundant Humans

Bill Gates retires today at age 52. He's one of the wealthiest at app. $52 billion. He plans to spend the rest of his life giving away the money that he spent the first part of his life accumulating. I wonder. When did it occur to him that making money as a goal was not all it was cracked up to be? He's joined in his philanthropic plans by the worlds richest-Warren Buffett. Like Bill, he is giving all his money away and will use Bill's personal foundation as the executor. Presumably Warren has second thoughts about wealth as a goal .But he is somewhat suspect. Because at 78 of years age, he is running up against the "can't take it with you" proverb.

How and where is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation going to spend the combined philanthropic fortune? It looks like Bill is headed back to Africa. We all came out of Africa some 50,000 years ago. Bill is a descendant of one of the more adventuresome primates that left Africa. He's going back to help the more "stay at home" Africans that never left the continent.

Malnutrition is the biggest killer in Africa. Bill plans on spending the bulk of the money on feeding the underfed. And then what Bill? It's easier to have children than to feed children. The stay at home Africans never quite grasped that truism. It's ironic. Bill Gates has become fabulously wealthy by replacing hard-working people with software and effectively making them redundant. But now he wants to spend the profit from that enterprise in a de facto breeding program of particularly redundant people who can't feed their own redundant children.

Flooding Follows The Human

The old world in the east has lost most of its trees . By comparison the new world in the west still has a plentiful amount. The reason for the difference, according to anthropoligists, is that man settled in the east before migrating to the west. And so the trees were cut and the rivers were channelled and diverted. The recent flooding in China, Burma, India and Southeast Asia are the results of denuded land and the flood plains of rivers being inhabited with surplus people.

Our own Midwest is now experincing the same dynamic. The ongoing channelling of the Mississippi River , draining of wetlands , clearing of the Great Plains of natural grasses for crops and housing developments in flood plains have all contrbuted to the "500 year floods". The scourge of surplus humanity leaves its footprint in ever closer and closer high water marks.

Too, too many people.

AIDS & STD & The Overpopulation Problem

The front page of todays San Francisco Chronicle gushes in anticipation of a possible early start of homosexual marriages in the City . Fag- hag Mayor Gavin Newsom is dutifully trying his best for his impatient glory hole backers in Hollywood. He wants to move the time from June 17 to 5:01 P.M. on June 16. Is this too exciting or what? Ah to be alive and witness these fascinating and wonderful times!

Upon turning the page, the Chronicle carries an article titled "Teen Sex, No Longer Declining". What's more, the details of the piece quotes the Center for Disease Control stats on 1 in 4 teenage girls across all races now have a sexually transmitted disease. That's 25% of the upcoming breeding stock. Also teen pregnancy is on the rise after a decade-long decline. The CDC didn't speculate about the causes for the ominous figures. But the article said experts opined that "complacency about AIDS and changing attitudes about types of sex" were the reasons. AIDS has been sold as a cause celebre because of politicians and Hollywood. Somehow the completely avoidable disease is talked about in terms of bad luck or attacking the poor minorities dispropotinately etc. Anything or any excuse rather than commenting on the poor judgement about what part of the body is to be used for what particular function.

Coincidentally the 25% number also turns up in sub-Sahara Africa. Our black brothers and sister monkeys have an infection of AIDS/HIV at the same percentage of STDs showing up in our teen girls population-25%. The Africans just do what comes naturally. We in the highly "civilized" West change laws so we can sodomize legally . Are we more smart?

We are seeing the future for a mitigation of the human overpopulation problem. It's spelled AIDS and STD. But now the party is beginning. Send out the invitations .Forget about tomorrow. And the children are watching. Newsom's pencil neck is being fitted for a dress shirt and tie instead of a more appropriate public exhibition in stocks fitted for self-made morons.

The Problem Is Not Overfishing, It's Overpopulation Stupid!

According to the United Nations Food And Agriculture Organization, overfishing has caused a 75% reduction in fish stocks worldwide.

That statement is true and false. The accurate part is the dismal estimate of a 75% reduction in fish stocks. The false and misleading part is to blame overfishing. Overfishing is only a sympton or result. In truth the cause of this crash in fish stocks is overpopulation by humans of all races. In the near future people will not find enough food unless they reverse the human population. These sporadic local genocides in Africa are more about overpopulation than political differences.

May I offer a target of app. 200,000,000 as a population goal to aim for. That worldwild human number was app. the population of the human during the classical/golden age about 2500 years ago. All the rest that have been added are largely unwelcome, just look at America's trash culture for evidence.

Siberian Tiger & Chaos At San Francisco Zoo?

News services report " chaos " at the S.F. Zoo during the recent death of one, mauling of two and the killing of the culprit the rare Siberian Tiger "Titania". What " chaos "? The death of the first victim and the death of the Tiger all happened in 20 minutes. That's pretty efficient and fast by jungle standards.

What is truly the result of chaos is that there are only 600 Siberian Tigers in the wild while there are app. 6.6 billion humans who ravage the planet at their leisure. More chaos will follow when the lawsuit will over value the human carnage while the tiger will only be garbage.

Urgent Message To Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation announced yesterday a new $100 million fund for "...early, unorthodox health innovations in a search for tools to fight global epidemics."

Hey Bill and Melinda, stop right there! First, the most important epidemic to stop is the growth of world-wide human population. Secondly I'm happy to report, we already have a cure for it. It's called birth control. It comes in both medicinal and in paraphernalia. So if you really care about humans and the quality of life keep it simple. Less is better.

The Economist Magazine: In Growth It Trusts

The July 28th edition of " The Economist" had a provocative editorial essay. The title " How to deal with a falling population: Worries about a population explosion have been replaced by fears of decline". The editor is probably worried about subscription growth and corporate ads. But I am not. Frankly I would approve a leveling of human population. And I would give a standing ovation for a humane 90% reduction of our 6.6 billion bodies. A population of app. 500 million would be the app. population of man's classical era about 2500 years ago. Then intuition, wisdom and personal effort were the norm rather than todays non-quality but abundant quantity human count, duplicating machines, software and artificial intelligence ad nauseum.

One of the Editor's arguments for further not-to-worry human population growth was his dismissal out of hand of an " Malthusian catastrophe". The Editor noted that " mankind appropriates about a quater of what is known as the net primary production of the Earth ( this is the plant tissue created by photo synthesis) a lot but hardly near the point of exhaustian."

I rest my case! The self-evident fact that we already consume 25 % of " net primary production" has already caused a kind of " Malthusian catastrophe" in the extintions of the greater flora and fauna world that tries to cope with man. Also the the degeneration of the human species as evidenced by obesity, diseases linked to lack of hygiene and constant war point to overcrowding and the redundancy of most humans.

My advice to the editor is " Use a tool and lose your place". You can be replaced.

Madonna & Missed Opportunity At Live Earth

Why was there no talk about human overpopulation at the Live Earth venues? The rock stars and politicos only addressed global warming. But global warming is only an effect of the problem. The cause of global warming, rampant extinctions and other scourages is the consumer habits of the overpopulated human species. Hundreds of millions of people with obviously nothing better to do were listening. These are some of the ones who should have less children. What a missed opportunity.

Madonna should have been the keynote speaker about human overpopulation. She could have spoken like this, "You all know me. I have had sex with most all kinds of people. Here's a partial list: NBA numbskulls, Puerto Rican greasers, trembling lilly-white choir boys, boisterous bisexuals, lesbian groupies etc. But I only have 2 children. Are you listening Africa and Asia? No more of 3-10 children per breeding female. Hey, you would be able to buy and listen to my records with the extra money and time."

Chinese Threat To Environment

What is it with the Chinese? In pursuit of exotic Chinese medicines, they have extincted many of their own wildlife and over the years have turned to other countries wildlife to make up for their loss. As the industrial revolution spreads across China the resulting middle class is created in it's wake. These newly wealthy Chinese middle class only exacerbates the historic use of wildlife for exotic Chinese medicines.

The latest endangered species to feel the impact of Chinese wealth is India's Asiatic lion. There are only 350 in the wild. The lion used to range in China but is long gone. In the past 4 months, 8 lions have been poached in India for their pelt, bones and internal parts. They were shipped to China for use in traditional Chinese medicines.A short-list Chinese menu of endangered species that are used in medicines include: black bear, tiger, rhinos, musk ox and shark fins. The Chinese also use elephant ivory for art and jewelry. The Chinese run fishing trawlers with 60 mile nets that sweep the seas of fish and mammals.

Meanwhile the middle class has created staggering pollution of air and water by industry in their demands for goods and services. Also wealth has supported a surge in births in China. Officially China has a 1 child law. But the middle class has legally circumvented this law by taking fertility pills and having multiple births. Woe is us.

What do you do with 1.2 billion munching Chinese that behave as a de facto virus on the planet? What goes around comes around. Maybe the Chinese will run into some virus of their own making and reduce their unnecessary numbers and mitigate their destructive behavior and philosophy.

Criminal Poor Judgement: Extinct Baiji Dolphin & Iraq War

This week saw the rarest of all dolphins, the baiji, declared " functionally extinct ". It had existed in the Yangtze River for the past 20 million years. But with the construction of Three Gorges Dam, the dolphin has not been seen since 2003. The hydroelectric dam provides electricity for a portion of the 1.3 billion Chinese that now ravage that part of China.

This week also saw the hanging execution of Saddam Hussein. So far that is the only dubious accomplishment that our country has gotten for it's 500 billion spent in the ravaging of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Poor judgement was used in both cases. The fact that a handful of dolphins were too much and had to be forced out of existence so 1.3 billion Chinese could " advance" their consumerism is a crime. The fact the U.S. spent 1/2 trillion dollars, killed or dislocated millions of Iraqis while killing or maiming tens of thousands of American soldiers in the pursuit of an illegal war is also a crime.

And what will the punishment be for these crimes? The Chinese in the end will meet the same fate of all overpopulated species-they will starve down to a more appropriate head count. And hopefully the architects of the criminal and illegal Iraqi war should meet a similar Hussein-type fate.

Melinda Gates: Mother Who Adopts Millions

There is a Chinese proverb, " When you save a life, you become responsible for that life." I doubt Melinda Gates, wife of Bill and the philosophical driving force of the Gates Foundation, knows of the proverbs implication. Because when Melinda and Bill spend billions on the prevention of death from, HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis they have according to the proverb assumed responsibility for those saved lives.

The facts of life show that malnutrition kills more people worldwide than the 3 scourges put together. Malnutritution is a direct result of overpopulation. If the Gates Foundation really wants to make a long term improvement in world health, then they should spend resources on preventing births in the locales that cannot support further population growth.
