Money & Music & Bubbles

The spending monkeys in Congress in pursuit of reelection and mission creep passed the Federal Reserve Act Of 1913. The goal of the Act was "... to provide a ready reserve of liguid assets in case of financial panics". The term "liquid assets" was a clue to the intended or unintended consequences of the Act-I.E. BUBBLES FORM FROM LIQUIDS.

Interestingly in 1919 the song " I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" was composed by Jaan Kenbrown and John Kellette.
Partially, it went like this:

"Im forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air,
They fly so high, nearly reach the sky,
Then like my dreams they fade and die"

In 1958 Stan Freberg composed a send-up of Lawrence Welk. The song was titled " Wunerful, Wunerful".

The song ended with this phrase:

"Help! Help! Wunerful,Wunerful
turn off the bubble machine. Help! Help!"

Monkeys shouldn't use money. It has the disastrous effect of multplying their greedy traits.

Condoleezza Rice Or Kind O' Ninny Rice?

Has there been a worse Secretary of State then Condoleezza Rice? No. She mostly condemns herself everytime she opens her mouth. For instance, she compared the 2003 invasion of Iraq to the "1960s Civil Rights movement in the South". Also in 2006 when Israel savagely bombed Lebanon's infrastructure and killed over 1000 innocent Lebanese civilians in the process she described the slaughter as "birth pangs of democracy". Recently she claimed a victory in the Iraq war because it had a "functioning democracy". I wonder what failure would look like to her?

Frankly she's a classic pickaninny. A pickaninny is a smallish African-American that is more than slightly behind .Putting her in designer clothes and straighteneing her hair is not fooling many. Kind O' Ninny Rice would be a more appropriate tag. The bucked teeth with the gap along with the didactic screehy voice nails it shut for me of her general unattractiveness. The gap in the front teeth hints at the gap in competence. In her defense she's smarter than Bush. That's more a cause for worry by the nation.

It's understood that when she leaves Washington she will return to academia and become a teaching professor. Students may consider buying dental strips for their front teeth and either writing gap on them or just blackening them to give the illusion of the gap of Kind O" Ninny's. There is an old saying that if 1000 monkeys had 1000 word processors they would recreate Shakespeare's works given enough time. Well to paraphrase that prediction, given enough time and money in an environment of political correctness the U.S. would come up with a pickaninny for Secretary of State. Well I'd say "Q.E.D.".

Abusive Monkey Experiments: We Should Use Humans Instead

Don't just sit there. Order a pizza, buy something on the Home Shopping Channel, order a movie and USE your credit card.

And so poor macaque monkeys with "their own arms gently restarined" learn to manipulate with only their brain waves which are wired to an artificial limb to grab and eat a marshmallow. The essence of our consumer society is now being delivered to the disabled courtesy of the hapless primate. The report is detailed in the latest edition of the scientific journal Nature.

Why use animals? Haven't we plenty of fat, demented couch potatoes who could be wired similarly? Probably some wouldn't even notice it. Or they would love to expend less energy in grabbing some potato chips and a coke while watching Oprah or some stupid game show. Merely thinking about the mouthful of stuff would be enough.

Our consumption and growth based society need all to participate. We ALL must buy and eat and buy and eat and buy and eat and buy and eat and buy and eat..........

A Simple Solution To The World Food Crisis

If it's one thing that liberals or politically correct types can't stand is a simple or obvious answers to a problem. Simple answers preempt the preferred complicated, costly ones that liberals relish.

The latest challenge is for a simple or costly answer to the world's food cost and availability crisis. United Nation reports show that Nigerians spend 73% of their income on buying food, Vietnamese spend 65%, Indonesians pay out 50% and the poor Hatians have almost no money to spend on almost no available foodstocks. One thing these underfed people have in common is they continue to breed and have multiple children. And thus they perpetuate the dismal cycle.

So what's to be done? Should the world plant more crops and build up more dependancy for irresponsible parents and then include their children in an open ended support cycle? We tried that already. It doesn't work. How about we just say "no" to more food and aid unless the dumb mokeys say "no" to more children?

Monkeys in the jungle have more sense than these people. And we become as dumb as the Nigerians etc. if we perpetuate their cycle of misery.

Mayor Newsom & Public Housing: How About A Near-Zoo For Near-Monkeys ?

Never let it be said that our hardheaded- Irishman, Mayor Newsom ever stopped trying. Sure he acts like he never learns but that doesn't stop him from repeating and extending mistakes with gusto. How about yesterday's latest example. He piled 50 S.F. department heads ( all earn over six figures per year) into a Muni bus for a day trip to the blighted Sunnydale Housing Project.

The Mayor was circulating his new idea for Sunnydale and other S.F. housing among the best ,brightest and most overpaid department heads. Gav's new idea wants to " ..treat public housing more like supportive housing for people struggling with homelessness , drug addiction and other problems". He wants on-site counselors, job training services, medical facilities and anything else any of the department heads can think of to add on.

Could this idea also describe a near-zoo-like facility for near-monkey-like residents? By definition, expanding the size and cost of bureaucracies will not solve the problem. Gav's condescension shows his soft bigoted attitude towards public housing residents. If he really wants to help those people then he will have to demand something in return from them so a work ethic and some sort of personal discipline is established. For starters, how about just keeping the place clean? And if they don't then kick them out for being a public health risk and move someone in who will keep the projects tidy.

Monsanto,Monkeys & Misanthropy

According to the late, renowned evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould the human is more than 1/2 made of bacteria that is found elsewhere in the natural world. In spite of that physical fact, the Monsanto Chemical Company recently reported record sales of it's herbacide Roundup which also kills insects as an unintended fallout. Monsanto also hailed it's record sales of genetically modified crop seeds like corn and soybeans. These seeds also deprive many insects in the chain of life of food. So what's the human's future with these poisons already killing our relatives?

Meanwhile in India, indigenous monkeys who once lived in rural jungles have seen their space turned into human cities and the monkeys are fighting back by refusing to leave and in some cases harassing the humans! So Indian authorities are sterilyzing the monkeys to mitigate the problem. All told, it's plenty of reason to be more than a little misanthropic. The inevitable coming plague or virus that will reduce our numbers will be somewhat welcome.

Vacuum Bomb: Correctly Named New Russian Bomb

Russia exploded it's "vacuum bomb". The air explosion is so intense that it creates a vacuum which resonates with the combustion of explosives and vaporizes all in it's fallout area. The name vacuum is appropriate. A lack of leadership or if you will a vacuum of sane, diplomatic leadership leads neatly to a vacuum cleaner approach to all living things.

Monkeys shouldn't have such technology.

Money & The Military & Mean Mindless Monkeys

Consider this snapshot of U.S. foreign policy in the past 11 months.

In July, 2006, the U.S. gave military support to the Israelis when they bombed greater Lebanon. After the ceasefire, the U.S. continued to give military support to the Israelis in the now 60 year old Israeli/Palestinian conflict. But lately the U.S. has taken sides in the new Palestinian " unity " government. Now the U.S. is giving military support to Palestinian Fatah over Palestinian Hamas.

But wait there's more. Now the U.S. gives military support to the same Lebanese in their fight with the Palestinians in Lebanese refugee camps. Of course this is all taking place in the context of U.S. involvement in the illegitimate Iraq war. Ironically the U.S. once supported militarily Iraq against Iran. Also in Afghanistan, the U.S. now kills the same people we in the past gave military support to in their regional fight with the Russians.

These policies and actions do not indicate a design for U.S. security and world peace. They more accurately reflect the actions of mean, mindless, military monkeys who are encouraged by military manufacturers in the pursuit of money to make mayhem.
